Your account and saved watches

Saving watches requires a verified account. We do not save watch collections in browser storage. When you create an account, we store your name, email address, a hashed password, verification records, sessions, and the watches and searches you choose to save. If you select a watch before registering, its identifier stays in the registration URL so it can be saved after verification and sign-in.

We use essential session cookies to keep you signed in. Account information and saved collections are stored in PostgreSQL on Render. Verification and password-reset emails are sent through Resend, which processes the recipient address, message, and delivery information. These account emails are separate from marketing subscriptions.

Account records remain while your account is active. You can remove individual saves or delete your account in account settings. Deletion removes the active account, sessions and saved collection; backup copies and provider security logs may remain until their retention periods expire.

Retailer visits

When you follow a live retailer link, we record a random click identifier, the offer, retailer, time and page placement. This supports referral measurement. The application does not attach your name or email to that click record. Hosting providers may separately retain ordinary connection and security logs.

Unlinked click records older than 90 days are removed by the collection maintenance job. Records connected to commission transactions may be retained for reconciliation. The receiving retailer or affiliate network applies its own privacy and cookie policies.

Optional analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand visits to public pages and where visitors come from. Google receives browsing and device information and uses cookies to distinguish visits. We do not send your account details, saved collection, search text or URL query parameters. Account pages are excluded. Advertising personalization and Google Signals are disabled.

Analytics is enabled by default. You can turn it off here. We remember your preference for six months. Turning it off stops analytics and removes its cookies from this site.

Images and third-party sites

Product images may load from a retailer or image-hosting service, which can receive your browser's request and connection information. Visiting external links takes you to services operated by those providers.

Contact and requests

Use the address on our contact page for privacy questions. Contact us to request access to your account information or help with deletion. We do not currently offer marketing email subscriptions or price-alert emails.
