The details that make a price comparison meaningful.
Match the variant
Start with the manufacturer reference, case diameter and metal, dial variant, bracelet and production era. A shared model name does not establish comparability. Keep unknown details unknown; do not infer the reference from a photograph.
Read beyond the condition label
Read descriptions of dial and hand originality, case polishing, bracelet wear, service records, and included box and papers. A condition label alone cannot establish that two watches are equivalent. We exclude unresolved matching attributes from price badges.
Recognize when the evidence is thin
One low listing is not a market. Our current comparisons require several independent fresh observations. When the sample is too small or attributes are uncertain, the useful answer is that more evidence is needed.
